The affinity between former Nigeria international, Anthony Ujah, and his Bulgarian club, Botev Plovdiv FC has come to an end, following the expiration of the contractual terms that bonds both parties together in the last one years, continentalnews.com.ng, reports.
In an emotional farewell message to the club, Ujah expressed deep appreciation for the experiences shared during his stay — he acknowledged the friendships made, and conveyed best wishes for the club’s future ambition.
”Dear Botev Plovdiv Family, thank you for welcoming me with open arms into your club, city and above all your family, i wish i could give you more happiness through my goals on the pitch but God knows best. Despite my injury early into the season i felt your love and support each day until the last.”

During his short spell at the club, Ujah is loved for his dexterity and the pivotal role he played to help the club to a great repute.
It is not yet clear where the former FC Koln of Germany goal poacher will be pitching his tent next, in the current transfer window, but Sport Resonance reports that a chance to play in Europe remains a viable possibility for the Benue born striker.
