Former Senegal international and CAF Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations-winning coach, Mamadou Diallo, has been confirmed as the Draw Assistant for today’s CAF Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations Senegal 2026 Qualifiers Draw in Cairo, Egypt.

The draw is scheduled for 14:00 Cairo time (11:00 GMT) and will be broadcast live on CAF TV.

The CAF Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations Senegal 2026 is scheduled to take place from 7 to 15 November 2026, with the qualifying draw set to determine the seven teams that will join hosts Senegal at the tournament.

Sixteen nations will be involved in today’s draw: Angola, Burundi, Côte d’Ivoire, Egypt, Ghana, Kenya, Libya, Malawi, Mauritania, Mauritius, Morocco, Mozambique, Nigeria, Seychelles, Tanzania and Uganda.

Diallo brings vast experience to the occasion, having represented Senegal at the 1994 CAF Africa Cup of Nations before turning to beach soccer. He featured for Senegal at the 2007 CAF Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa, where they finished runners-up to Nigeria.

He later ventured into coaching and was part of the Senegal technical team that won the continental title in 2018. As head coach, Diallo guided Senegal to another CAF Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations triumph in 2022, securing his first title as head coach.

Senegal remain the most successful nation in the history of the competition, with their 2024 triumph taking their tally to a record five CAF Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations titles.

With Nigeria and the other 15 nations now waiting to discover their qualifying opponents, all eyes will be on Cairo as the road to Senegal 2026 officially takes shape.
