While captaining All Stars International FC at the opening match of the All Stars International Abuja Veterans Cup 2025, Chairman of the National Sports Commission, Shehu Dikko, shared an ambitious roadmap to reposition the National stadium, Abuja as a world-class hub for sports, entertainment, culture, innovation, and business.

Joined by the Honourable Minister of Youth Development, Ayodele Olawande, and later by the Honourable Minister of Arts, Culture and Creative Economy, Hon. Hannatu Musawa, Mallam Dikko emphasized the Renewed Hope Agenda’s goal to make the Abuja stadium a proper sports city and centerpiece for hosting global events across all sports and multi sports events like the Africa Games and Commonwealth Games, while introducing new concepts like a robotics and Esports centre, shopping malls, hotels, hotels, convention centre, cultural centre arenas, and more.
