The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has taken a swipe at former Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi, drawing comparisons between internal party challenges.
Wike criticised what he described as “defective leadership” within the Peoples Democratic Party, likening some PDP governors to Obi, whom he accused of failing to remain within his political platform to resolve internal crises when they arose.
The remarks come amid ongoing tensions and factional disputes within the PDP, as the party struggles to stabilise its leadership structure ahead of the 2027 general elections
