FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup: Busari invites 25 for first phase of final camping in Abuja

Head Coach Hakeem Busari has invited 26 players to the camp of the Nigeria U17 women national team, Flamingos, as preparations commence for their participation at this year’s FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup, to be staged by Morocco, 17th October – 7th November.

The Flamingos defeated their counterparts from Bénin Republic home and away in the final round of the African qualification campaign to book a ticket to the global finals. Since the competition was launched in New Zealand in 2008, Nigeria has only been missing from one edition of the global finals – the 2018 finals in Uruguay.

All the invited players have been advised to report to the Serob Legacy Hotel, Wuye, Abuja on Sunday, 30th August 2026.
